Hi… my name is Alison!
I’m a little gray tabby with the softest fur, gentle purrs, and big green eyes that are always watching the world carefully.
I came to the sanctuary a very scared mama after being live trapped with my two babies under an abandoned mobile home. I did my very best for them and I’m proud to say they’ve both found loving homes. Now it’s finally my turn.
I’ll be honest with you: I’m shy at first. When I go somewhere new, I like to hide and take my time. I need a family who understands that trust doesn’t happen overnight. But if you’re patient with me, I promise it’s worth it. Once I feel safe, I absolutely love soaking up affection. I’m quiet, sweet, and full of love.
I have the softest, most polite purrs. I love being brushed… it’s one of my favorite ways to relax. And I have a silly side too… sometimes I stand right in my food dish because, well, food is yummy and I get excited.
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will bond deeply once she feels secure, I might be your girl. I don’t need loud or busy… just calm, kind, and patient.
You can come meet me daily between 1–5pm at the sanctuary. I might be hiding at first… but I’ll be hoping it’s you.
I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.
I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.
If you are interested in adopting Alison, please come visit… we are open daily from 1-5pm (including holidays)… we want to meet you in person! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@furballcats.com or message us on Facebook: Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.

Since Furball Farm gives many cats forever homes they are always in need of Scoopable cat Litter, canned cat food, and cleaning supplies. Items purchased at PetSmart in Faribault can be left at the store and they will contact us for pick up. We appreciate any help we can get and so do the cats!!! Thank you!!

Their adoption process
Additional adoption info
Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!!
You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.
We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
