HI - I'M SHIRLEY, and I'm a very special girl. I was clearly loved by someone once because I'm pretty chubby - I weigh about 93 pounds! I was impounded at a scary California shelter and while there, I rested patiently, just waiting for someone to notice me. I'm a 7-year-old Lab-Pit mix, so I figured it may take awhile, and sure enough I ended up being the shelter's longest resident. They kept me around for months because I am such a great, easygoing girl. I'm very quiet, mellow and I love human attention and affection. I'd make a great movie-watching buddy or snuggler. I truly need a foster or forever home as right now I don't have one. If you can open your home and heart to be, I would be so grateful. I'm currently in Southern California, but can be transported to Idaho. Please email for an application.

These dogs are being fostered in Idaho. We are a registered 501c3 animal rescue organization in the State of California. We adopt out dogs in Southern California and in the Pacific Northwest, and in some cases we work with rescue partners in specific locations, to help facilitate adoptions.
