If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
This is Luna. I found her abandoned in a marina at the end of July 2024. She was about 2 wks old. She's very affectionate, her energy level is moderate, she rolls over for treats, and loves playing fetch with some of her small toys. Luna was spayed last year, she is completely litter trained and I have always kept her indoors. She is really good about me clipping her nails and will be bringing her lighted clippers with her, along with her automatic feeding and watering dish, her steam brush, warming mat, some catnip and a few toys. She is highly intelligent and minds very well.
They only reason that she needs to be rehomed is because my job has changed and therefore I will be out of town for days on end. Which I do not feel is emotionally healthy for her.
I am hoping to rehome her to someone who will keep her indoors, as she is afraid of being outside. (She's also afraid of car rides and the vacuum) and some place that does not have other pets in the home.
