This helps Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue with pet care costs.
Muffin is a gentle soul. I do not have background information about her. From my observation she is easily frightened by loud noises, another dog barking at her, a person approaching her too quickly and a person raising their voice even if it’s not at her. When her person adopts her, they’ll need to be patient, loving and understanding. When she arrived at my home she was afraid to go outside. Muffin adapted to her harness pretty quickly. Walking with the leash needs more training, She can pull you at times and if she doesn’t want to go in a certain direction she’ll drop to the ground and roll on her back. It reminds me of a child throwing a temper tantrum. She’s potty trained but you’ll need to be consistent with her times. She’s kennel trained as well. She’s been really good around other jogs. It would be nice if she had another dog to play with that is around her size. I can’t tell you if she’ll try to jump a fence or dig under the fence. I take her out on a leash at all times. I believe she’ll be an excellent companion when she’s stable in her forever home.
