Take the Pet Home
This helps St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines with pet care costs.
My name is Edith, and I was named after Edith Wharton, the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction — a name full of grace, intelligence, and quiet strength.
I’m ten years old and as lovely as my namesake. One of my favorite things is sitting beside my foster mama while she reads. I make the perfect reading companion — calm, cozy, and content just being near my person.
I love long naps on the couch and sleeping next to my foster and my foster friends. I have a gentle, sweet nature and enjoy peaceful company. While I adore affection and togetherness, I also have an independent streak and am perfectly happy doing my own thing when the mood strikes.
If you’re looking for a refined, loving companion with a calm presence and a warm heart, I would love to curl up beside you.
Adoption Information
Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.
Adoption Fees
Kittens (under 6 months): $150
Adults (over 6 months): $125
Seniors / Special Needs: $75
Please Note:
We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
