My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hayu is a male cockatiel.  His hatch date is 5/21/2023 and he is a very sweet, young boy.  Hayu takes some time to adjust to new people but he does know how to step up and with time will most likely be a very friendly, hand tamed bird.  He seems to be lonely, he used to have a friend and is now by himself.  His foster home has him near their cockatiels and he seems to enjoy the company so we think he would do best with a friend.  He is not really bothered by the kids, cats, or dogs in his foster home either.

His adoption fee is $100

To adopt Hayu, fill out an application at www.kakf.org/forms

Additional adoption info

Once you submit an application for a specific pet the foster home will review the application, follow up with any reference, and then reach out to set up a home check. At the home check you will meet the pet and we will conduct the interview. If things go as planned you can complete the adoption that day. For caged pets we require all the supplies be there and set up.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
