My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wobbles 💫

Wobbles is an almost 8 month old kitten with severe cerebellar hypoplasia, which means she’s wonderfully wobbly. She falls over often and her head bobs when she eats, but she gets to her food and water, uses the litter box perfectly, and can make her way across a room on her own. When she’s calm, she does great. When she’s startled, her legs move faster than her balance can keep up.

She was found as a stray who couldn’t climb porch steps, and thankfully made her way into foster care before winter. She is spayed, FIV/FELV negative, vaccinated for rabies, and finished her FELV/FVRCP series.

Wobbles was very nervous at first, but she has blossomed in a quiet home. She now walks over for attention and enjoys pets once she feels safe. She may hiss at new people, but it’s just fear, never aggression. She gives gentle play swats and tiny love nibbles, often followed by sweet licks.

She loves cave beds, small scratching posts for balance, and Churu or wet food served in a bowl or on a spoon. Because of her special needs, Wobbles will need a calm, quiet home with no children and very gentle pets, if any.

Her steps may wobble, but her heart is steady and full of love. 💛

She is located in Yakima, WA but can be transported to Western WA.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue. We mostly rescue cats, but occasionally we are able to take in a dog or two. We do not discriminate against which cats and kittens we help, so we may have felines with special needs, or FIV. We will always be up front if we know a cat has something specific. A lot of our rescued animals come from Eastern Washington as there are little resources there.
