My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Have you ever met a cat and wondered how they turned out so perfect? That’s how we feel about Pikake. Soft and social, she’s here to be friends with everyone but isn’t pushy about it. Her goal in life is to set the Guinness World Record for most snuggles in a single day - can you help?

Pikake is FIV-positive. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives and are often adopted just like any other cat. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds, not through casual contact, shared food or water bowls, grooming, or litter boxes. Because of this, many FIV-positive cats live successfully with other cats and dogs.

As with any chronic condition, FIV can increase the risk of certain infections or medical issues later in life, and some cats may require additional veterinary care over time.
