My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you know Beagles, you know Fredo. At 3 years old, this handsome hound is everything people love about the breed — curious, vocal, energetic, and always ready to follow his nose into his next adventure. Fredo absolutely loves to “talk,” and he’s more than happy to get the rest of the kennel chiming in with him. If you’re a fan of that classic Beagle bay, he’s your guy! Fredo is a high-energy pup who’s looking for an active home. He’s not the type to snooze through a binge-watching marathon — he’d much rather be out exploring the yard, going for long walks, or engaging in fun enrichment activities. True to his hound roots, Fredo is a food enthusiast. Treats? Yes, please. Seconds? Also yes. Training with positive reinforcement and snacks will go a long way with him! Because of his inquisitive nose and natural prey drive, Fredo is seeking a home without cats. He does get along with other dogs, but his playful, sometimes exuberant style can be a bit much for sensitive or senior pups. A tolerant, playful canine companion would be the best match. Fredo adores people but can be enthusiastic in his greetings, so he’s looking for a home with children 8 years of age and older who can match his energy and understand his zest for life.

Before you can spend time with a dog, there is a brief questionnaire that you will need to fill out. This information is confidential and will be used only to assist our staff in determining the best possible placement. Please spend the time necessary to make the best possible decision for you AND the dog you may adopt.
