Born around 15 September 2025, Rusty arrived at Lucky Paws as a tiny kitten with his brother Dusty. Rusty is visually impaired, and Dusty is missing one eye, but neither boy lets it slow him down. They have learned to navigate their world with confidence and rely on each other in the sweetest ways.
They grew up in foster care and are well adjusted as indoor housecats. Rusty can be a little vocal when he is figuring out his surroundings, but once he gets a sniff of his favorite churu, he relaxes and shows his gentle, cuddly side. Dusty helps reassure him, and the two often seek comfort and company from each other.
Rusty is fully bonded to Dusty. They thrive as a pair and adjust best when they are together. They are looking for a patient, loving home that understands their needs and will let them settle in at their own pace. Submit our initial screening application at LUCKYPAWS.ORG/ADOPT

Interview
We will call you for a brief chat! We want to ensure the best fit!

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
We will schedule a meet and greet! We have a ton of kitties and we want to let you interact with the vast selection!
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Once you choose your new family member, Sign the contract, pay $100 adoption fee, take your new pal home!

Our adoption process is designed to focus on the best fit for each individual cat, rather than a first-come, first-serve basis.
