My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oatmeal, a young, sweet soul with a dash of shyness and a heap of curiosity. This delightful cat fills her days exploring and solving little mysteries like where the squeakiest toys are hidden. Her gentle demeanor makes her a joy to be around. Oatmeal’s funny antics will surely bring a smile to your face. Adopt Oatmeal and discover the boundless love of a quietly charming companion.

We are the Adoption Partner with Poughkeepsie Petsmart, where cats and kittens are cared for in the store. We also have cats and kittens in private foster.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue and care for stray and homeless animals while providing humane education to the community.
We work with members of the community to help cats in need. We conduct trap/neuter/return and place projects and train home and business owners on how to properly care for free roaming cats on their property and in their neighborhoods.
We focus in southern Dutchess County, but help people throughout Dutchess, Putnam and Orange counties by connecting them with local rescues that can work with them, loaning equipment, coordinating spay/neuter clinics and offering guidance.
