My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Petey 🖤🤍

Hi… I’m Petey. I’m a black and white boy with the cutest little face and very careful manners. The shelter is a big, noisy place, and I’m still trying to figure it all out, so I spend a lot of my time hiding and watching from a safe spot.

I’m very shy right now — the kind of shy that makes me freeze when people walk by and tuck myself into the coziest corner I can find. But I’m not mean at all… just scared. When someone sits quietly with me and lets me come to them, I start to relax. Soft voices and slow movements help me realize everything is okay.

I would do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy cats blossom on their own timeline. I may not show it right away, but I have a lot of love in my tiny, nervous heart.

If you’re willing to give me time, I promise I’ll give you all of me. 🐾
