Meet Rivas – Our Brave Little Tripod with a Big Heart 
Rivas is a young American Shorthair calico with a story of resilience and a spirit that shines. Found as a stray, she recently underwent a leg amputation due to a severely damaged limb — and she hasn’t let it slow her down one bit!
This three-legged sweetheart is energetic, very playful, and full of life. She loves chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, and staying busy. When she’s happy (which is often!), Rivas makes the sweetest little chirping sounds that will melt your heart.
Rivas is new to indoor life and is still getting used to being handled, so she’ll do best with a patient adopter who will give her time and gentle guidance as she continues to build trust and confidence. She’s already making great progress and shows her loving nature more each day.
She gets along well with other cats and would enjoy a feline friend. She has not yet been tested with dogs. Rivas is comfortable in a crate, travels well, and even enjoys car rides.
Her absolute favorite pastime? Sitting in a sunny window and watching the birdies.

Meet the Pet
Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.
Home Check
The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!
Pay Fee
Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.
