Hi there… I’m Walnut 🌰🐾

I’m a 5-month-old Boxer mix with the cutest little wiggles and the biggest puppy heart you’ve ever seen! I made my way to safety with a big group of other puppies and dogs all the way from South Carolina. It was a pretty crowded start to life, but now I’m getting my chance to shine thanks to the amazing humans at Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

I’m still just a baby, which means I’m learning everything for the very first time — how to walk nicely on a leash, what toys are (spoiler: I LOVE them), and that cuddles might actually be the best thing ever. I can be a little curious about new things, but once I know I’m safe, my silly, bouncy Boxer personality comes right out!

I’ve got those classic Boxer good looks with a playful sparkle in my eyes. I’m the kind of pup who will make you laugh with my zoomies, then curl up beside you like I’ve always belonged there.

What I’m really dreaming of is a family to grow up with — someone patient who will teach me all the good-boy things and let me be part of every adventure. I promise to trade you endless kisses, tail wags, and loyal companionship in return.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
