My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This one sweet cat! He is a big boy with an even bigger heart. After knowing how much this guy has been through, it is hard to understand how he remains so loving, so trusting, and still so hopeful. He has spent most of his years outside, sometimes finding shelter in a barn or shed, having to fight for limited resources, and eventually experiencing the loss of the only "home" (barn) and  family (other cats) he knew when he survived a barn fire. He found some comfort, vet care (including neuter and vaccines he required) and food from a neighbor, but they did not have any other pets/animals and it was clear that was really what Buck was missing most. Buck was brought to our shelter in hopes he would find comfort, companionship, and eventually a forever inside home. That was the promise we have made to him when he was brought through our doors!

With that said Buck is looking for love! Real love, you know the kind that provides care, consistency, and lots of affection. He would love his family to include another kind cat, or five! Buck would love to join a pack. He seems fine with dogs, and really most other animals. Buck is so mellow and loving, that he would probably fit into almost any family. He is fine to be pet, picked up, carried, sit by you, on you, or just be anywhere near you. Again, this sweet boy deserves love and is so willing to give all he has. Please consider giving this guy a chance to know a "real home" and in return you will be blessed with a loyal and loving lifetime friend.

All of our kitties have s/n completed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.  If you'd like to meet any of our great cats/kittens please submit an online adoption application at littleorphans.org. Please give our Adoption Team time to process all the info. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
