If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Peanut Butter joined our family as a puppy in early 2021 from a Central Valley, CA rescue. She is a smart, playful, people-loving adult dog who has been deeply loved in our home.
After recently welcoming a baby, we learned that Peanut Butter struggles with anxiety and has had a hard time adjusting to the changes and reduced one-on-one attention she’s used to. We worked with a trainer through Family Paws, but despite our efforts, the environment has become too stressful for her. She deserves a home where she can receive the time, consistency, and love she thrives on.
Peanut Butter would do best in a single-dog household with no infants or toddlers, and with adopters who have experience with anxious dogs and the patience to support a sensitive pup. She would thrive with a backyard or regular access to open spaces.
She loves fetch (especially her orange Chuckit ball), enjoys off-leash trails, prefers quiet environments over busy streets, and is very smart with a bit of stubborn charm.
