If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Kaiju a few years ago and he's an amazing cat. He is low maintenance, doesn't demand treats, and has only sent a few gibberish emails to work. He has not been professionally groomed, still maintains his claws, but has not had them clipped. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and prefers using the outside as his litterbox, but will use a litterbox indoor.
We have 3 dogs. There are 2 small dogs which he doesn't mind but typically stays away from. We recently got an Aussie/Pitbull mix that he does not like at all. The dog has not attacked him or anything, but Kaiju is still extremely fearful and would prefer a home without a larger dog.
There is no timeframe on this adoption and would prefer someone with limited or no other pets. Kaiju would be a good for a first time cat owner, but with an inside quieter home.
