My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Toast, a perfectly golden little tortie with a personality as warm and delightful as her name. Born around 10/18/25, Toast may be petite, but she is absolutely bursting with charm, confidence, and classic tortitude. She firmly believes life is better when narrated, and she is more than happy to provide the commentary. If Toast had a career, she would undoubtedly be a talk show host, interviewing her toys, moderating debates with the other cats, and calling out to her favorite humans to make sure they are tuning in.

Toast is a certified people enthusiast. She gets along wonderfully with both men and women and approaches her humans with complete confidence. Call her name and she will come trotting over, revving up her purr motor before she even reaches you. She adores being pet, happily accepts belly rubs, and has no problem being picked up or handled. In fact, she often seeks out affection on her own, nuzzling your leg or hand and gazing up at you as if to say, “Yes, you may continue.”

True to her tortie roots, Toast is vocal, expressive, and just a little bit bossy in the most endearing way. Though she is smaller than some of the other cats, that does not stop her from confidently approaching them through the baby gate to introduce herself and share her opinions. She is very interested in other cats and would do best in a home with another kitten to match her playful energy and social spirit. Having a feline sidekick will give her the companionship and wrestling partner she’s clearly hoping for.

When she is not hosting her daily show or supervising household activities, Toast loves batting around toys, especially her beloved pipe cleaner twister toy. She also enjoys zooming through a cat tunnel, popping out dramatically as if making a grand entrance on stage.

Toast is equal parts cuddle bug, social butterfly, and tiny comedian. If you are looking for a kitten who will keep you entertained, shower you with affection, and thrive alongside another playful feline friend, Toast is ready to take center stage in your home.
