Meet Sherlock! Sherlock is an independent guy who will ask for pets and tummy rubs with a polite paw-pat or head-butt. He prefers getting attention on his terms and will enjoy relaxing next to you more than being on your lap. He enjoys window watching, sitting on top of his cat tree, and being in front of the fireplace. He`s mostly a chill dude but does enjoy tossing around his toy mouse every once in a while. He would prefer a home where he is the only kitty.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):
To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, and all holidays.
From Foster Care (out of shelter):
Put the name of the cat(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. In the email include your name, phone number and address.SASCatFosterAdoption@seattle.gov
