FABIAN is fabulous. He is a big, gorgeous short-haired male black and white kitty who sports a white mustache – but only on one side of his sweet face! Fabian is one of a litter of six who were found near Jasper Bridge. Rescued a bit later than his siblings, Fabian was on his own for a time, and was initially shy and reluctant to be touched, but he is now the first of his siblings to give and receive affection. Fabian is independent, confident, and calm. He loves to watch his siblings play, joining in occasionally. He enjoys wand toys and feathers. He is a superb lap cat, and loves to find a cozy spot next to you with a comfortable spot to lay his head. He loves to watch the birds. Fabian will fit perfectly into a quiet home with other cats. His siblings, Chico and Liff, are also available for adoption and the trio get along well. Fabian is waiting patiently to be the love of your life.
FABIAN has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Fabian, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee ($280 for two young cats, $405 for three) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the cat can go home. Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette, at Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd and the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
