A fitting name for a feline who has been described as “looking like an adorable little bobcat.” Bob is a sweet, handsome boy who came to EHS from an overcrowded municipal shelter and his previous life is a mystery to us. The recent and big changes in his life have been scary, and sometimes overwhelming for him, but as he settles in at the shelter, volunteers have begun to see that a timid cat like Bob can also learn to be brave and relaxed as well.
ABOUT BOB
- At shelter - Some of this gentle guy`s personality is still being revealed, but as he becomes more comfortable and gains confidence, Bob is beginning to show his bright and friendly side too. - Bob is initially tolerant of scratches from the back-scratcher, starting on the cheeks and chin, but once he feels more relaxed with you, Bob will sometimes give slow-blinks, and is also happy to receive pets by hand. He has also been known to accept some kisses too! - This bashful boy prefers to cautiously explore his space at the shelter when he thinks no one is watching. - Bob has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
BOB’S IDEAL HOME
- A potential adopter may need to give Bob some time to warm up and feel comfortable in his new home, and with new people. - At this point, we are uncertain if Bob would get along well with other cats. - Bob’s exposure to dogs or children is also unknown, so we are not sure how he would do with them.
If Bob’s your uncle (as the saying goes), why not apply to adopt Bob today!
