Physical Description Darwin is a gorgeous, mostly white with black, adult cat. Active, playful, larger framed cat.
Personality Darwin loves to explore new spaces and initiate activities with other cats. He is a very confident kitty that is not thrown off by new environments.

Darwin enjoys lure toy play and sleeping on a cat tree or bed and has done well around other confident and playful cats. Darwin needs a home that is willing to accept him for his boisterous, rambunctious self and that can provide good enrichment and playtime.

Darwin is a kitty that can be overstimulated easily by people and is unlikely to become a lapcat. He has previously lived with a large dog and did not get along well with the dog.

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $150 for one kitten or $100 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).  A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
