Freddy is a complete lovebug and clown. He is great with other dogs of all sizes. LOVES kids. Good with cats. He prefers zero exercise and sleeps from 8-5 while I work from home. He is house trained, exceptionally trained in obedience (for example, you can point to a flat surface in your home and say ‘place’ and he will stay on that spot until you tell him to release) walks on a leash like the champion potato he is.
He loves being around people and being on a lap, but also does great being left home for extended hours. He’s 8 and does take allergy and anxiety meds, but excepting these two things is a healthy guy.
He is a wonderful dog. He has had a difficult time acclimating to the busy city and the associated noise. Particularly, he’s randomly developed an aversion to astroturf, so we have to walk several blocks which subjects him to the noise and chaos that has been overwhelming him.
I’m in no rush to find him a better option and will be prioritizing finding the right fit.
