My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I acquired my pet approximately 5 to 6 six years ago from a cat adoption agency at a nearby name-brand animal store. At that time, she was one of three in a litter of older kittens. I was concerned with having a new pet in our house as I have a daughter with asthma; however, we all agreed to give it a try. My daughter's asthma has been touch-and-go with having the cat, but she lived part-time at my location. In this time, I've taken my cat twice during my ownership to a veterinarian for physicals as well as vomiting issues. The vet exams identified fatty tumors in her abdomen which are benign. The vet on both occasions requested I change my cat's diet which I did. She still vomits if she eats either dry or canned food too quickly. She also has some anxiety issues which has on several occasions led to her defecating on beds.

My daughter is moving back into my house permanently and we now know that cat dander is one of the asthma triggers. I'm looking for a good home for Shadow.
