Let us introduce you to Sam — the kitten who was never part of the grocery list, but absolutely meant to come home that day.
Sam was discovered when a tiny kitten was spotted hitched under a vehicle in a parking lot. Luckily, there was a trap in the car and a little fishy bait did the trick. Instead of just groceries that day, home came an adorable tuxedo boy who had clearly been surviving outdoors on his own.
Based on the puncture wounds on his backside, Sam had likely narrowly avoided becoming someone’s meal. After treatment for his injuries and the typical issues that come with living outside, he healed beautifully and is now ready for the safe, loving life he always deserved.
Sam loves to sleep in bed with his humans and absolutely enjoys pets and affection. He’s also got lots of kitten energy to burn — running through the house with other kitties, playing with all kinds of toys, and being the life of the play session.
He can be shy with new people at first, but with just a little patience, Sam blossoms into a loving, loyal companion. He does best with another kitty friend to wrestle and zoom with — and he would absolutely love to be adopted with his best friend, Elmer.
