Jovi is a 7-year-old, approx. 56 lbs, Australian Shepherd mix. He’s smart, playful, friendly and good with dogs his size with proper introductions. Small dogs/animals and cats are, unfortunately, a no go for this fella. Jovi loves human companionship and he does well with kids, but his enthusiasm makes him a better fit for older ones. He is house and crate trained and his leash skills, well, they are a work in progress. Jovi's favorite activities include running, playing in the kiddie pool and snuggling after a long day of play.
This guys ideal match would be an experienced, patient and committed home that can provide structure and boundaries. Jovi needs an area to expend his bursts of Aussie energy, so a fenced yard is required. Once those bursts are expended, he's ready to snuggle in for a good book or a movie.
Jovi is looking for a home where he can stretch out, soak up attention and claim his rightful spot on the couch. If you’re searching for a playful, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jovi is ready to be your guy.

Rock-A-Bully and Friends Rescue is based in Houston, TX. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Transport is available to select cities in the NE, Midwest and Pacific NW.

We are a small rescue located in Houston, TX. Our mission is to rescue dogs of all breeds, focusing on the pit bull type, and find them the best home possible. It all started with 3 beautiful pit bull mixes that were about to be euthanized. We knew we could help but knew the only way was to start a rescue. So we did. We've been rescuing dogs since 2017 under the RaB name but have several more years experience rescuing dogs from shelters and the streets with other rescues.
