My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like her namesake, Merida from Brave, our Merida is a spirited redhead with a heart full of courage and charm!

This lovely 3–4 year old orange tabby is a rare gem — most orange tabbies are male, so finding a female ginger beauty like Merida is something special. And just like the Scottish princess who inspired her name, she stands out in the very best way.

Merida is a friendly, confident gal who enjoys meeting new people and surveying her kingdom (aka your living room) from the comfiest perch she can find. She’s social without being pushy, affectionate without being demanding, and independent enough to entertain herself when needed.

She has that perfect balance of bravery and warmth — ready to explore by day and curl up beside you by night. Merida doesn’t need to change her fate — she just needs a loving home where she can rule with kindness and cuddles. If you’re ready for a courageous companion with fiery fur and a golden heart, Merida is ready to write her next chapter with you.

Will you be the clan she chooses? Visit her at our adoption partner, PetSmart. The address is 1779 Stone Church Road East, Stoney Creek.

**Please note: we only adopt within Ontario.
