This sweet family is excited to find a foster home where momma can continue to care for her little ones. Mom will handle most of the care until the kittens are ready to explore on their own. Mom can be shy in a new home, and will benefit from a slow approach and adjustment period. Babies may need guided feedings as they wean.
Litter Consists of: Momma Velvet and babies Rokurou, Magilou, and Eizen
Reason for Foster: Nursing Mom and Babies
Foster Time Frame - See Below:
Mom: With babies until they are 6 weeks old
Kittens: 6 weeks with mom, in foster until they are 8 weeks old
Foster Care Plan: These kittens are still nursing with Mom until they reach 6 weeks of age. They are a bit tiny for their age. If they are not gaining well, they will need supplemental feedings to help. Once babies are weaned, the kittens will be ready to continue their journey on their own and Mom will go into another foster home to begin her recovering from nursing period. We will provide kitten nursery consultation upon arrival along with training if needed. All supplies and resources will be provided to confidently take care of these mom and babies. Mom is currently on oral medication for an upper respiratory infection.
