My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flex – A Handsome, Energetic Boy Ready for Fun!

Flex is such a handsome guy with a playful, curious personality and lots of love to give! He’s house trained and already knows the “sit” command, making him a great companion to continue learning and growing with.

Flex is full of energy and enjoys staying active—he loves toys, playing tug, running, and would likely thrive in agility or other fun activities that keep both his body and mind engaged. If you’re looking for a dog to join you on adventures, Flex could be your perfect match!

He has been around children ages 6 and up and has done well, though he can get a bit jumpy when he’s excited, so continued guidance and supervision would be best. Flex plays well with other large dogs but may be a little too enthusiastic for smaller dogs. He is submissive with cats.

Flex is looking for an active home that will embrace his playful spirit and help him channel his energy in positive ways. In return, you’ll get a loyal, fun-loving companion who is always ready for the next adventure.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on `Foster Questionnaire.`

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.

We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We`ll see you soon at either location!
