My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

James Dean is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours!

Scroll through his pictures to see his cute videos!

Our James Dean may share his name with a silver-screen icon, but he's no "Rebel Without a Cause"... Rather he's: "Well-Behaved Because He Is Perfect"... But seriously, this medium sized gentle-dog is the total package! He is slight of frame, dainty, absolutely adorable with those hound-dog ears, incredibly affectionate and sweet and well-socialized to dogs and people and kids. We could go on and one about what a special boy he is! James Dean comes to us all the way from Alabama, and he sure brought some of that Southern charm to our kennel. He is precious and we are all head over heels! James Dean is perfect in his kennel (he just lies there either with his front paws crossed, or curled into the cutest ball), and perfect outside of it whether on a walk, cuddling with volunteers, or hamming it up in play group with his pals.

You simply must come and meet this gem before it is too late. We are already jealous of whoever takes him home!

James Dean’s adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed/neutered, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
