My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paloma! This confident, playful girl is bursting with character. Paloma is a social, happy cat who genuinely enjoys being part of the household. She’s quick to welcome new visitors and thrives on interaction. She does have a slightly “needy” side, but in the most endearing way — she simply loves attention and being near her humans. She’ll happily spend time cuddling, especially when you come home and settle in, often rubbing her face against yours and offering the sweetest little nose boops. Affection is very much her love language, particularly head pets, though she prefers to cuddle on her own terms like the self-assured queen she is.

Because Paloma is such a social and attention-loving cat, she would do best in a home where she’ll receive plenty of interaction, affection, and mental stimulation. A household with people who can give her lots of attention — or one with a friendly cat companion — would be ideal. Paloma currently gets along very well with her kitty, Dove, who keeps her busy and entertained. If you are looking for a dynamic duo, they would love to go home together. She can be a solo cat, but only if her humans are ready to shower her with the engagement and love she craves.

Paloma has a hilarious habit of “chatting” with her people as if she has very important opinions to share. Whether she’s narrating her day or greeting you at the door, her funny little conversations are guaranteed to make you smile.

Playtime is one of Paloma’s great joys. She adores wand toys, feather toys, cardboard boxes, and just about anything that moves, rolls, or can be chased. Mice, balls, wands — you name it, she’ll play with it. While she doesn’t seem picky about toy types, she’s always enthusiastic and ready for fun. After a good play session, you’ll often find her curled up nearby for a well-earned nap, perfectly content just being close.

Easygoing, playful, affectionate, and full of personality, Paloma is the total package. If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion who will greet you like you’re the best part of her day and keep you entertained with her adorable commentary, Paloma is ready to fill your home with joy, laughter, and plenty of nose boops.

Additional adoption info

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:
http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
