Sammy is a sweet, shy 9 year old hound mix. This older girl is looking for a calm, laid back home where she can relax in her golden years. Small, rowdy children stress her out - she would be best in a calm household with no kids or older children with calm demeanors. She doesn't like to share with other dogs and would do best as the one and only spoiled fur child in the home. She would make a great companion for someone older looking for a calm dog to keep them company in a calm, quiet household.

Adoption fee: $150 (Discounted to $50 for senior adopters!) Sammy is spayed, current on vaccines and comes with 30 days of pet insurance and her first bath and nail trim on us.

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue based in Central Florida. Established in 2013, we have successfully placed over 200 dogs. As we continue to grow, we have opened our Community Resource Center in 2019 and provide training, education, grooming events, and a food pantry for those in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Thanks to our training scholarships, we have helped over 100 rescue dogs have continued success in their furever home.
