My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have 10 incredible Cane Corso puppies looking for committed, experienced homes! These stunning, intelligent, and loyal pups will be ready to enter foster-to-adopt homes on March 21 (Born on February 7) to a champion bloodline black mom, and fawn dad. Cane Corsos are a powerful, devoted working breed that thrive with confident, experienced owners who understand large guardian breeds. These puppies will grow into strong, protective, and deeply bonded companions, and they need families prepared to provide structure, training, and lifelong commitment. Ideal Home Requirements: Prior experience with Cane Corsos or similar guardian breeds. Commitment to training, socialization, and leadership. Stable home environment prepared for a large-breed dog. Understanding of the breed’s protective and loyal nature We adopt throughout the East Coast, including: NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, NH, DE, MD, DC, VT, and ME. Adopters must be available to pick up their puppy in NYC once approved. Exceptions may be made for nearby states, as long as adopters are able to travel to New York City for pickup. The first step of the process is submitting an application, before having an interview call with our adoptions team. All puppies will star their vaccines with Rescue City.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

The first step of the adoption process is to complete an adoption application in full at www.rescuecity.nyc. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the city. We do not have a physical location where we keep dogs.

More about this rescue

Rescue City is a no-kill, non-profit1 pet rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization. Our team of dedicated volunteers is based in Brooklyn, NY and serves the NYC metro and surrounding areas.

Our organization’s motto is: There’s a person for every dog, and there’s a dog for every person…it’s just a matter of time. This applies whether you are looking to adopt a pet, or would like to make a positive impact on the lives of animals. At Rescue City we believe it is our moral responsibility to defend the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals.
We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and international shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a thorough – but hassle free – adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes. Every rescue is fully vetted and altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated upon adoption. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.
