Dumdum was born in my backyard about five years ago. He grew up around me and my spouse.
Around two years of age he and a female cat had two kittens in my backyard (one of which is now one of my indoor cats). He got along well with us and stayed with the kittens as they grew.
Early 2024 he and his partner disappeared after New Years Day fireworks. He reappeared in the latter half of that year and stayed around since.
In the second half of 2025, we had him neutered and up-to-date on shots. As he kept injuring himself somehow, we moved him indoors with my mom in January.
He needs an experienced caregiver as he has adapted to indoor life very slowly. Potentially has an issue with women (unknown if abused while outdoors). Turns into a purr machine when petted but is slow to trust.
