What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
MAVERICK is approximately 1 1/2 years old. He is an absolute lover. He is feisty, loves playing fetch, and has endless energy. Loves his walks and car rides, and sitting in the sun. He is very friendly with my ferrets, and is curious about other cats and dogs, but is apprehensive.
I rescued/adopted him from Facebook on December 22nd, 2025, as the family could not have him anymore. He is overall a great dog.
Now for the downsides of Maverick...He is not fully potty trained. Even with a doggie door, he will pee/poop in the house. This is especially when it is very cold outside. He has severe separation issues: he has destroyed 3 wooden/vinyl windows blinds (chewed them up completely). Even with a fenced in yard, he is an escape artist, and will dig under the fence if you leave the house. Due to the digging and escaping, I can no longer have him at my place, because of housing and community restrictions.
The damage done by peeing/chewing is too costly for me to keep him now.
