If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
My husband rescued her, she was abandoned and hiding in cactus from predators about 12 years ago. She doesn’t do well with loud noises and fast movements or excitability. She is a very loving cat once you gain her trust. She was a great emotional support animal for me after my miscarriage about 12 years ago. We got her before having kids and recently had a baby. I also had a cancer diagnosis and we’re no longer able to afford the time and money to take care of her along with medical bills and baby expenses. She likes her space and is very to herself, but loves to play and snuggle once she’s warmed up to you. She lets my child pet her, but must be slow moving and quiet. She likes to give affection in her own time. Loves plastic bags, lasers, string, and bathrooms.
