My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Freddie! Freddie is a handsome 5-year-old black cat with a resilient heart and a whole lot of love to give. After coming from a difficult situation, he’s slowly learning that the world can be a kind and gentle place. Shelter life is still new to him, but every day he grows a little braver. This sweet boy absolutely loves his food and will happily chat with you all about it — and about anything else on his mind! Freddie is wonderfully vocal and isn’t shy about meowing for your attention. He adores gentle pets and will lean right in, soaking up every bit of affection. Freddie is ready to leave his past behind and settle into a loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and heard. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and a charming voice, Freddie would love to meet you. To meet Freddie, complete an online application at www.washingtonpashelter.org or visit during walk through hours on Tuesday 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday through Saturday 1pm - 4pm.
