My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Twist, the charming pregnant female tortoiseshell cat named after the fizzy delight! With her unique speckled orange nose and sweet split chin, this little beauty has a personality that`s just as bubbly. Although she’s on the shy side, her gentle nature and tender heart shine through once she feels comfortable. Twist enjoys quiet moments, soft blankets, and a soothing scratch behind the ears. She`s searching for a loving home where she can feel safe as she awaits her little ones. Are you ready to give Twist the cozy space she needs? Come meet her and let this precious mama steal your heart!

When can Twist be yours?
Because kittens cannot be separated from their mother until they`re weaned, Twist can be pre-adopted at this time and then go home to her family when her kittens are around 6 weeks old and can be separated.

How much does it cost to adopt?
Twist`s pre-adoption price is $110, with an additional refundable $25 deposit that gets you a voucher for a complimentary spay/neuter and a free vet visit from one of our three area veterinary clinic partners: Alpena Veterinary Clinic, Switzer Veterinary Clinic, or Sunrise Veterinary Clinic and the peace of mind of knowing your new furry family member is up-to-date on all standard age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative treatments, along with testing and a bag of adoption food. Once proof is provided that the altering surgery has occurred, you will be issued $25 in cash.
