Frio came to us as a stray, but those days are behind him now! This handsome boy is neutered, fully vetted, and ready to find a forever home of his very own.
Born approximately 3-7-24, Frio is a fun-loving, affectionate guy who thrives on attention. He would do best as the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the undivided love he deserves. Frio absolutely loves to play and would make a wonderful companion for a family with children who can match his energy and enthusiasm.
Whether he’s chasing toys or seeking out pets and snuggles, Frio is always ready to be part of the action. He’s looking for a home where he can be the center of attention and truly shine.
If you think Frio could be the perfect fit for your family, please apply online before stopping by. Visit eastshoreha.org and click on the Pet Application Form. Once your application is processed and approved, come see him during our walk-in cat viewing hours:
Mondays: 12pm–5pm Fridays: 12pm–6pm
No appointment is necessary for viewing. However, to adopt the same day, we do require an approved application on file — so don’t wait!
Frio is ready to trade stray life for a lifetime of love — could that home be yours?

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:
1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.
2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.
Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.
Adoption Requirements:
1. Have verifiable identification
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home
4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered
5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier
6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
