Meet Laci 💕🐾
Laci is an approximately one-year-old medium mixed breed weighing around 26 pounds — the perfect size for cuddles on the couch and adventures by your side. She has the sweetest little soul, but she is extremely timid and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place.
Laci is good with other dogs and does okay around kids. She’s also okay with cats — she’s just very curious about them and likes to keep an eye on what they’re doing. 🐶🐱 She is currently working on potty training and making progress, but she will need continued consistency and patience in her new home.
Because she is so shy, Laci will need a patient and understanding family. She can be easily startled and will run from things that scare her, which makes her a flight risk if let loose. She may also nip if she feels frightened — not out of meanness, but simply out of fear. She needs a calm home willing to go slow, give her reassurance, and help her build confidence at her own pace.
With time, love, and consistency, dogs like Laci truly blossom into the most loyal and devoted companions. She just needs someone willing to see the beautiful potential behind those timid eyes. 💗
Laci is up to date on her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed, which will be covered by the rescue at Auglaize Animal Hospital.
