My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ripley is a gentle, incredibly sweet cat who came to us from a hoarding situation in Mauston involving a surplus of belongings and a large number of cats. Working alongside the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, we now have official custody of Ripley and the other cats involved.

Despite his difficult start, Ripley has shown us just how loving he truly is. He has a soft nature and responds beautifully to calm, consistent care. While he may need a little time to adjust to a new environment, once he feels safe, his affectionate personality really begins to shine.

Ripley does well coexisting with other cats and would be comfortable in a home with feline companions. What he needs most is patience, routine, and a family willing to give him the time he deserves to fully blossom.

Cats like Ripley may not rush into new situations, but the love they give once they trust you is something truly special.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you’re ready to provide Ripley with the stability and kindness he’s been waiting for, please fill out an application on our website. https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process prioritizes accessibility, equality, and inclusivity. An application can be completed online or in person, ensuring accessibility for all potential adopters. Additionally, our application is available in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of applicants.

Once an application is submitted and approved, we facilitate adoption meet-and-greets on-site at our shelter's adoption center. This allows potential adopters to interact with the animals they are interested in and make informed decisions about their adoption.

Overall, our adoption program is designed to make the process as smooth and inclusive as possible, ensuring that each animal finds a loving and permanent home.
