My foster knows me better than anyone! Here's what they had to say about me during my time with them: Terry is a sweet, shy boy who will take a little while to warm up to his new environment. Once he is given time to settle in he will be a wonderful companion and will enjoy purring happily on your lap. He is very much looking forward to a nice, quiet, loving forever home.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

If there are kids in my new home, I need them to be older than 10 and must meet them before going home. An adoption counselor can tell you more.

The Humane Society for Southwest Washington uses the following guidelines for adoptions:

1. Adopted animals will be spayed or neutered prior to their adoption.

2. Adopted animals will be placed as companion animals.

3. Adopted animals must be kept in accordance with all local laws and ordinances.

4. All animals leaving the shelter must be wearing identification and restrained by leash or carrier.
