Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🤍🖤 Meet Jerry! 🖤 🤍
* Your Future Shadow with a Purr Motor!*

If you’re looking for a kitten who will adore you with his whole heart, Jerry is ready to apply for the job! This handsome black-and-white sweetheart is the perfect blend of playful energy and affectionate devotion. Friendly, gentle, and wonderfully confident, Jerry doesn’t just join a family — he becomes part of it.

Jerry absolutely loves being petted, held, and cuddled. In fact, if you’re sitting down, he’s already planning his route to your lap! He thrives on spending time with his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. When it’s playtime, bring out a feather wand toy and watch him light up with joy — he’s active, athletic, and always ready for fun. 🪶✨

He also enjoys the company of other cats and is endlessly curious about what his feline friends are up to. Jerry was brought to a local shelter with his brother Ben and several other kitties from a hoarding situation, and he’s blossomed into a loving, social young cat who is ready for a bright new chapter. He would absolutely love to be adopted with his brother Ben, but it’s not required.

** Jerry MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with Jerry for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a family who will give him lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

Jerry does great with other cats after proper introductions. Jerry hasn’t been around dogs, but his foster dad believes he would do well with cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. He does well with respectful, gentle children, and he is litter box trained.

Jerry has so much love to give and can’t wait to share his cuddles, purrs, and playful spirit with a forever family. 💕 If you’re ready for a loyal little companion who will fill your home with warmth and joy, Jerry is ready to meet you!

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
