My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tabasco, Chili & Cayenne – Our Spicy Little Survivors Tabasco, Chili, and Cayenne may have spicy names, but these three are mostly sweet with just a tiny kick of sass. Rescued from a warehouse at just six weeks old, they had a rough and scary start to life. When they first came into foster care, they were shy, skittish, and unsure of people. Fast forward a few months… and what a transformation! With patience, love, and lots of gentle encouragement, this trio now enjoys pets, curls around their foster mom’s ankles for attention, and loves snuggling together on a cozy chair or couch. They’re proof that a little kindness changes everything.

Tabasco is all black little boy and is the love bug of the bunch. Still a touch shy at first, but once he warms up, his loud motorboat purr says it all! He adores attention, is playful and curious, and absolutely loves his siblings. Tabasco will need to be adopted with one of his siblings or with a kitten of similar age.

Chili is a little boy who is solid black and came into care with hissing and spitting perfected — but he has since decided it’s much better to be a lover than a fighter. While he still takes a little time to fully trust, he truly enjoys affection and is a sweetheart at heart. He loves to run, wrestle, and explore, and would thrive with one of his siblings or another playful kitten his age.

Cayenne is the beautiful brown tabby and the only girl in this spicy crew. She can seem independent and a little standoffish at first, but she’s very curious and does enjoy attention once she feels comfortable. Playful and inquisitive, she will need to go home with one of her brothers or with another kitten of similar age.

While we would absolutely love for all three to be adopted together, we know that’s a big ask. Two will need to go home together, and the third can be adopted with a similarly aged kitten.

Cayenne, Chili, and Tabasco are dewormed, spayed/neutered, had their FVRCP vaccines and a booster, rabies vaccine, combo tested negative, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration.(You won't ned to pay yearly - it's done.) More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
