My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Playful, blue-eyed, and full of personality! Bria is ready to steal your heart

Bria is an 8–9 month old pup who looks like a Shepherd/Husky mix, possibly with a little herding dog in there too. Despite looking bigger in photos, she’s actually quite petite at just 32 lbs! Her most striking feature? Her bright blue eyes that perfectly match her joyful personality.

Bria wakes up every day excited to see what adventures await. Some of her favorite activities include long walks, zooming around the backyard, discovering every dog toy imaginable, and going on car rides to fun places. She’s a happy, curious girl who loves being part of the action.

She is potty trained and does great with both people and other dogs. Bria would thrive in an active home with someone committed to continuing her training—she’s incredibly smart and eager to learn! She loves routine, enrichment games, practicing new tricks, and of course treats. Another playful dog in the home would be a big bonus for her (though it’s not required).

A typical day for Bria might include one or two long walks, running and playing chase in the yard, or frolicking in a field. After playtime, she’s happy to curl up on a comfy bed for a nap and soak up belly rubs. She recently discovered soccer balls and fetch, which have quickly become favorites!

Bria can sometimes be a little unsure about brand new things at first, but she warms up quickly with encouragement and positive reinforcement. She’s already doing great with training and truly loves learning.

Bria and her brother Arnold were rescued from a hoarder situation in Texas, where more than 20 dogs were living in very poor conditions. After being rescued, they had to fight for their lives—but today they are healthy, happy, and ready to start their new lives with loving families.

All POSO Dogs come with:
• Spay/neuter

Bria is a fun, affectionate, and adventurous pup who can’t wait to find a family to grow up with 💙

More about this rescue

LET'S SAVE SOME DOGS

We are a small Colorado based Dog Rescue team, dedicated to providing a loving and caring environment for our rescues, while also working to break the cycle of owner surrenders.

POSO is working tirelessly to ensure that each dog receives the attention, medical care, and love they deserve. We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without a rescue dog), providing free training for our foster families and our adoptive families. We are doing more than just rescuing dogs, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.

Our origin story is rooted in our passion for animals and our goal to make a positive change in both the lives of a dog and their human to break the pattern and ensure less dogs are returned to shelters. With over 15,000 Dog Rescue organizations in the United States and over 1.5 billion websites out there, we believe our story, our mission and our approach sets us apart. POSO is a Dog Rescue doing more than rescuing dogs.
