Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sushi! Sushi is a 3-year-old grey and white tabby with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy is high-energy, vocal, and absolutely loves being a lap cat once he feels safe. If you’re looking for a companion who will chat with you about his day and then curl up close for snuggles, Sushi might be your perfect match! Sushi enjoys being petted and has no sensitive “no-touch” spots—he’s happy to soak up affection from his trusted people. He’s lived with children in the past and did well, though he’s more of a companion than a rough-and-tumble playmate. He also is said to love other cats and especially enjoys running around and playing with feline friends, so he could thrive in a home with a playful resident cat. That said, Sushi is a sensitive soul. Loud noises and strangers can make him nervous, and when he’s feeling overwhelmed, he’ll retreat under a couch or bed until he feels secure again. The good news? He typically recovers from stressful situations within a couple of hours. With patience, a calm introduction period, and a cozy safe space of his own, Sushi blossoms into the affectionate, talkative boy he truly is. Sushi has not traveled well in the car and has never been around dogs or other animals, so slow, thoughtful introductions (if any) would be important. Sushi would do best in a loving home that understands shy cats and is willing to give him time to adjust. In return, you’ll get a loyal, lap-loving companion who will fill your home with playful energy and sweet conversation.
