Maple is deeply loved & has been a cherished part of our family since she was a kitten. She is a loyal cat who bonds strongly with her “people.” Unfortunately, once kids entered our home, Maple became anxious & aggressive. That anxiety shows up as hissing and lunging toward anyone who isn’t us, especially visitors. Bc of this, she truly needs a quiet, predictable home w/ very few (or no) guests & no young children. When it’s just us, Maple is a completely different cat: playful, affectionate, & fun. She loves playing fetch w/ tiny objects, chasing strings, & will happily hunt mice if given the chance. She’s a VERY quiet cat who rarely meows & prefers to simply be near her person, following us from room to room or snuggling on the couch or while we work. She’s also obsessed w/ squeezable treats (they’re how we trim her nails!) We’re expecting another child soon & want to give Maple the calm, low-stress environment she deserves... One where she can feel safe, settled, & truly herself.
