Come by the shelter and Jesse’s watching you with those eyes. Offer him a hand and he’ll be loving you with those head butts and full body flops. Jesse had a rough start to life as a cat from a home with too many cats to care for. As such, Jesse has lived with multiple other cats and understands how to share his space, especially in a calmer setting than the one he came from. We don’t know how he feels about dogs and kids, but it has been our honor to see him warm his heart to staff and let them in.
Jesse can be reserved at first and sensitive to noise. Over time, he started to come out of his bed to chirp and rub up on the cage, asking for meals and affection. It takes time to really get to know Jesse and see his true potential. As such, Jesse would do best in a patient, loving home that allows him to settle in at his own pace. With time, understanding, and a little extra love, he’ll show you the sort of cat that makes you wish that you were Jesse’s human!
