Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Santana is a 1 yr old Rottweiler. She was originally brought into our home to companion my older Rottweiler and, ideally, learn her calm and well-mannered behaviors. Unfortunately, Santana's temperament has developed very differently.
While Santana initially got along well with the others when she was smaller, she has recently begun displaying dominant and aggressive behaviors toward them. The smaller dogs are now fearful of her, and my larger dog remains constantly on alert to protect them.
Santana is affectionate, playful, and loving. She enjoys fetch, walks, and running, and has a very energetic personality. She requires a fenced area or secure tie-down, as she chases vehicles if loose.
I truly believe Santana would thrive in a home where she is the only dog and can receive focused, one-on-one attention and training. Making the decision to rehome her has been extremely difficult, but for the safety of my other dogs and my family, I feel it is the most responsible choice.
