Giardiniera is a perfectly mixed blend of sweet, gentle, and endearing—much like the Chicago-style condiment she’s named after, just without the heat. This black-and-white shorthaired beauty was born around 12/20/2022 and has already checked off a major life accomplishment: successfully raising three kittens. Her kids are all grown now, and Giardiniera is officially done with the whole “mom” thing. She’s ready for a life where she can focus on herself, her toys, and a nice view out the window.
She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience she warms up and shows her quiet, affectionate side. Giardiniera has lived with many other cats in the past, so with proper introductions she would likely be happy sharing her home with feline friends. She’s moderately active and delightfully entertaining—she loves toys so much that she’ll climb right into the toy bin to pick out something new, and if no one is watching, she may even drag her favorites around the room.
A good, tall cat tree is high on her wish list, as bird watching would absolutely be her chosen career path. Churu treats are her weakness, and once she’s comfortable, she enjoys being petted on her own terms, showing off just how incredibly soft she is. Now that her days of babysitting are behind her, Giardiniera is ready to truly blossom in a calm, loving forever home where she can be appreciated for the wonderful cat she is.
